The following Terms and Conditions apply to all products and services provided by Pedro Ferreira – Graphic and Web Design (hereinafter referred to as PF). All work is carried out by PF under the understanding that the client has agreed to PF’s terms and conditions. Copyright is retained by PF on all design work, including images, ideas, visual resources, and illustrations, unless specifically distributed in writing and after all costs have been paid. Project development involves presenting mockups, with only one solution provided to the client by PF, unless otherwise requested by the client and subject to quotation. All other mockups remain the property of PF.
01. Project Acceptance
PF will provide the client with a quote. The Terms and Conditions can be read on the website pedroferreira.pt or in the quote letter. A copy of the quote must be dated and signed by the client to indicate acceptance of the proposal and returned to PF. Alternatively, the client may send an official request or an email confirming acceptance of the quote and the terms and conditions. No work will commence until acceptance of the quote and terms and conditions has been received by PF.
02. Design Fees
All design service costs provided by PF will be written in the quote presented to the client. Upon acceptance of the quote and terms and conditions, a non-refundable advance of 50% of the total quoted amount is immediately due from the client. The project will only commence when the advance is received by PF. Unless otherwise agreed with the client, all design services require a minimum advance of 50% of the total project value before the work is presented to the client for review. The remaining 50% of the total project value will be due upon project completion, before uploading to the server or delivery of the final artwork to the client.
03. Source Files
The client will receive all editable files in vector and image format for graphic projects, and access to all website files and databases for web design projects.
04. Costs for Additional Services
Fees for any services beyond the estimated project will be paid 50% in advance upon acceptance of the quote and 50% at the end of the project.
05. Payment
An invoice will be issued to the client before publishing or sending the final artwork. At that point, the remaining amount due will be paid. Payments can be made via bank transfer, cash, Mbway, credit card, PayPal, or (for international clients) Western Union, MoneyGram, or Real Transfer. Publication and/or delivery of final artwork developed by PF to the client will only take place upon receipt of funds.
06. Copyright and Trademarks
The client declares that they hold the copyright and/or trademark permissions for text, images, and other data provided to PF for inclusion in the website or other client project. Ownership of such materials remains with the client or trademark owner. By providing images, text, or any other data, the client grants PF permission to freely use this material in the design development process. The client agrees to fully indemnify and hold PF harmless from any claims made against PF for failing to obtain all necessary rights and/or other required permissions.
07. Revisions
The client agrees that changes beyond the estimated work during project development are subject to additional costs. The client also agrees that PF is not responsible for any changes made by third parties, before or after a project is published.
08. Licensing
All design work with a risk of third-party claims must be registered by the client with the relevant authorities before publication or first use. PF is not responsible for any damages resulting from such claims. PF is not liable for any unforeseen loss or damage in delivering products or services, regardless of cause. The client agrees to hold PF harmless for any loss or damage. Any claim against PF is limited to payments made by the client.
09. Data Formats
Text must be provided to PF in electronic format as standard text (.txt), MS Word (.doc), on CD-ROM, or via email. Images sent by the client must be provided in an electronic format requested by PF via CD-ROM or email. Images must be of appropriate quality for use without further processing or editing. PF will not be responsible for any image quality later deemed unacceptable by the client. PF cannot be held responsible for the quality of images scanned from printed materials at the client’s request. Additional expenses may be charged for all necessary measures, including but not limited to photography and art direction, photo research, media conversion, digital image processing, color correction, and image alterations.
10. Project Duration
Any indication given by PF regarding project duration is merely an estimate. PF will not be responsible for any extension of the deadline beyond the estimated time, regardless of cause. The estimated project timeframe starts from the moment funds are received by PF.
11. Access Rights for Website Development
The client agrees to provide PF access to all computer systems and other locations as required to complete the website project until all fees are settled, including all read/write permissions, usernames, and passwords. The client agrees to provide all necessary materials for website development in a timely manner.
12. Project Completion
PF considers the project complete upon confirmation or approval by the client. Any errors are the client’s responsibility after mockup approval, even if caused by PF.
13. Web Design
PF sends models to the client for review. The client must approve the models before coding begins. Any changes to navigation items, colors, structure, or content after model approval will incur additional costs. Once the website design is complete, PF will present the final result to the client. PF will make a set of minor changes at no extra cost within 15 days from the start of the website review period. Minor changes include text adjustments or repositioning of items on the page and do not include changes to images, color schemes, or navigation features. PF will consider the client has accepted the original proposal if no written notification of changes is received within 15 days of the review period start.
14. Website Hosting
PF offers hosting services as a reseller. The service is provided through shared servers by PTisp – Provedor de Serviços Internet, S.A. PF does not guarantee continuous service and accepts no liability for service interruptions for any reason. Fees are due at the start of service and are non-refundable. Clients must consider PTisp’s legal terms and usage policies, including Acceptable Use Policy, Terms of Service, Privacy and Security Policies, and rules for email, backups, and server resources. These documents can be consulted at: https://ptisp.pt/company/legal. By contracting hosting services with PF, the client acknowledges and accepts PTisp’s applicable legal terms.
15. Domain Registration
PF cannot guarantee the availability of any domain requested by the client. PF uses multiple domain providers to present the best proposal.
16. Search Engine Submission
Due to the infinite number of considerations search engines use to determine website ranking, PF cannot guarantee any particular placement. Acceptance of a website by any search engine cannot be guaranteed, and once accepted, the time it takes to appear in search results varies. Rankings will also vary as new websites are added. PF recommends clients use professional SEO companies but accepts no responsibility for their services.
17. Design Credits
The client agrees to allow PF to place a small credit, announcement, and/or link to PF’s website on the client’s site, in the form of a logo or a small line of text at the bottom of the page. For demonstration purposes, the client agrees to allow PF to showcase websites and other projects with a link to the client’s site on PF’s own website. The client also allows PF to use all projects for advertising, portfolio, and social media purposes.
18. Right of Refusal
PF will not include any text, images, or other data deemed immoral, offensive, obscene, or illegal. All advertising material must comply with regulatory standards. PF reserves the right to refuse to include submitted material without explanation. PF will not be responsible for images, information, or data sent by the client without proper authorization.
19. Cancellation
Orders can be canceled before project commencement via phone or email. If the project has started, the client will be invoiced for all completed work beyond the non-refundable deposit paid at the time of order. Amounts due must be paid immediately.
20. Orders
All orders are binding and produced in Portugal. By submitting data, the client allows PF to use personal information for product provision and delivery via postal services. The client is responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping, billing, and email information during the ordering process. PF is not obligated to provide products until the order is confirmed via email or phone. Graphic designs may be attached to the order, with quality the client’s responsibility. If quality is poor, PF will contact the client. Additional costs for improving the design may apply. PF reserves the right to refuse orders deemed inappropriate.
21. Mockups
PF presents mockups to the client, whose approval is required before production begins. Approval must be made via email.
22. Prices
Quoted or online store prices are net. VAT will be added where applicable. Prices may change over time and will be displayed in the store.
23. Payments
Payments can be made via bank transfer or deposit. Clients do not own the merchandise or service until full payment is made.
24. Stock
Stamps:
In-stock products are shipped within 24 hours. Out-of-stock products may take up to 5 business days. PF will contact the client if restocking takes longer than expected.
Other Products:
PF does not hold stock for other products, so delivery time will be provided to the client.
25. Shipping
Orders are sent via registered mail. Standard shipping time is 1 day; extended for autonomous regions. PF is not responsible for postal delays. If the client cannot pick up the order, it will be redirected to the local post office. If not collected, it will be returned to PF; reshipping incurs additional costs. Incorrect shipping information will result in additional shipping charges. Absence of a shipping address defaults to the billing address. PF has no physical store; all orders are shipped by mail.
26. Returns
Personalized Products:
Most products sold and services provided are customized according to the client’s instructions. For this reason, returns of personalized products, including stamps and printed materials, are not accepted. Exceptions to the right of withdrawal – Article 17, no. 1, letter c) of DL no. 24/2014, of February 14. Returns will be accepted if the product is defective or has a manufacturing fault, or if there is a manufacturing error on the part of PF. Returns will not be accepted if, after mockup approval, the client identifies any error in the approved content, even if the information was correctly provided at the time of the order. Claims will only be accepted within a maximum period of 14 days from the date of the order.
Non-personalized Products:
The consumer has the right of withdrawal when purchasing non-personalized products, within a period of 14 calendar days without needing to provide any reason. The period for exercising the right of withdrawal expires 14 days from the day after:
- they, or a third party designated by them who is not the carrier, take physical possession of the goods; or
- In the case of an order in which multiple goods have been purchased and the goods are delivered separately, the withdrawal period expires when the client, or a third party designated by them who is not the carrier, takes physical possession of the last item.
In order for the client to exercise their right of withdrawal, they must inform PF of their decision through a clear statement (for example, a letter sent by post or by email) addressed to:

27. Email / Privacy Policy
Personal details provided during order processing are used only for order fulfillment and will never be shared with third parties. Clients may occasionally receive emails from PF about products or services.
28. Complaints
Clients wishing to file a complaint must do so via email; PF will respond within 7 business days.
29. Trademarks
All trademarks and trade names belong to their respective owners. Images in the online store may not exactly reflect the purchased product. PF reserves the right to replace products.
30. Warranty
Products sold in PF’s online store have a 2-year warranty. Damage due to misuse is not covered. PF cannot guarantee the accuracy of information on the website. PF excludes any liability for damages resulting directly or indirectly from use of the site.

33. Legal Notice
PF is not liable for damages resulting from products and/or services provided. PF is not responsible for data loss or non-delivery of products/services. PF strives to work with the best products and services but cannot be responsible for their performance or quality. Any claims against PF are limited to amounts paid by the client. PF reserves the right to subcontract services or resell products through other suppliers or agents. The client agrees that products and services may be resold by PF.
34. General
PF reserves the right to change any amounts and any Terms and Conditions at any time without notice. These Terms and Conditions replace any previous versions distributed in any form.
35. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions and Quotation
Any order of products/services or project by PF via email, verbally, or in writing is subject to acceptance of these terms and conditions. Signing and accepting a quote implies acceptance of the terms and conditions and forms a business contract between the signatory and PF.
