My opinion on the Colibri Project
As a supporter of good free software, I present a billing program that I have been using since I started my activity. The Colibri Project billing software is available in a free version and a paid version, currently RCP 16.
For users who only need to issue a few invoices, receipts, and occasionally credit/debit notes, the free version becomes extremely convenient, managing to respond to these needs excellently, as well as much more. The program is certified and allows SAFT export.
At the layout level, the Colibri Project cannot be said to be one of the most intuitive or best programs. It has a primitive, technical spreadsheet-like appearance, which can sometimes leave new users slightly confused when configuring parameters. It requires somewhat advanced computer knowledge. With practice and persistence, it does what it was designed to do and fulfills its function.
I noticed some bugs over time, including the inability to export documents to PDF format. After some attempts and research, I realized that the 64-bit Windows version was causing this bug. How is this error resolved? Uninstall the 64-bit version and install the 32-bit version (even on a 64-bit Windows); this works and makes it possible to export and save documents as PDF.
Recently, a new feature was added to the Colibri Project that generates daily backups automatically. This feature is extremely useful, as losing the database of a billing program is something to avoid.
If there is a need to reinstall the software, simply download it and replace the installation database with the backup. When starting the program, the database is updated, and the program retains exactly the same information. For added security, the backup files can be saved to a cloud service, such as Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive.

Overall, it is a great option for those who do not want to spend money on billing software. I have been using the Colibri Project daily for almost a decade and will continue to do so. It is certainly a piece of software that I recommend.
